What is The Mep Report?
The Mep Report is the world's only transcontinental conversational podcast. Bringing three old friends
together from the far corners of the US, it harnesses the rampaging wit of these champion debaters to bridge the gap between
politics, movies, sports, 80s cartoons and overweight birds. It is, by far, the funniest emu-centric radio show on the
Internet. Really.
The Mep Report is composed of three young men who came together through the Brandeis University debate team.
Now graduated and thrown to the winds, they find themselves in Berkeley, Brooklyn, and Beverly Hills. They come together via the internet
on Wednesdays. Special guests may also appear.
Instant Media had this to say:
"Who knew that three friends who met through their college debate team could be so funny? I think that their debate team
ties make this show that much more entertaining. Not only do they crack jokes and make fun of each other (and themselves),
they are also able to engage in intelligent dialogue on a wide array of subjects. These guys are doing something right. I
wouldn't doubt it if they were picked up by a mainstream radio station in the future."
GROW Parenting Podcast had this to say:
"One of the funniest podcasts I have ever listened to. The hour per episode goes by almost too fast. I downloaded all
the episodes in the show's archive after listening to the latest release. Each episode is 4 out of 4 stars in my book. Great
content, great consistency and a great cast. I hope the Mep Report will be around for a long time."
Psycheology had this to say:
"Sometimes you listen to a podcast and think the hosts are nowhere near as funny as they think they are. This is NOT one
of those podcasts. They ARE that funny!"
The Podcast Reviewer had this to say:
"These guys are funny... You guys need to download 'em... It actually makes my commute go pretty fast in the mornings...
Now that these guys have been reviewed, I'll kind of pull them out of my list, except for the Mep Report. I've actually had
those for quite a while and I actually enjoy listening to those guys, so they go onto my special 'Listen to These When I
Can', when I'm not trying to do a review. Everybody else I just kind of rotate out."
The Podcast Reviewer reviewed us in his 7th episode, on 25 January 2006.
PodFly had this to say:
"This podcast is highly amusing, and I would bet that it has the most intellectual, high-brow discussion of cartoons and
video games on the internet. It also goes into politics, fantasy sports, and life issues. Definitely tailored
towards the 20s computer savvy/nerdy crowd. Hope you all enjoy."
We were their Podcast of the Week on 20 December 2005.
