Evil Empire’s New Digs
As you can tell by recent Mep postings, baseball season is just starting to really heat up. In honor of this weekend’s inaugural Yanks/Red Sox series, here’s a strange fan made video from the Star Wars Universe…
Somebody needs to tell the creator that Vader’s mask isn’t an articulated mouth. That effect creeps me out.
I like it in that, as a transplanted New Yorker who knows not the glory of Yankee/New York baseball, it speaks to my annoyance of the billions of dollars wasted on a stadium insignificantly different from the first. Of course, I acknowledge that I may be blinded by my social worker/mother status… that and I’m from Seattle so if it isn’t high-tech with extra features…like, say, Safeco field just to choose one randomly, its seems so plain and useless.
Hi Clea — Perhaps you are taking this debate between 2 cartoon characters a bit too seriously. I have never been to Safeco Field but I’m sure the Starbucks’ coffee and sushi are wonderful and reasonably priced. All the best, Uncle Rick
Hey Uncle Rick, its been too long. Yeah, you’re right. I was more referring to the Safeco’s cool stadium design features, but no one can deny that it has its fair share of unreasonable priceyness. Although, if I’m going to waste money, I’d rather get sushi and a chai latte over crappy beer and a pretzel.
