The Han Solo of Electronica
Just got back from a Little Tokyo record release party for the artist known as Zaptra. As you can see from this video, he’s a little odd.
From the eyes of a self-admittied genre noob, Zaptra occurred to me as a one man band who combines a beat-generating Macbook with a synthesizer-channeling guitar. The resulting sound is hypnotically good.
Zaptra just released his EP entitled “The Rise of the New Dawn,” which is available on LoudBytes.
